Court decisions have also created additional pressures, such as the ruling that judicial officers' pensions cannot fall below 60% of their current salaries and the unconstitutionality of the solidarity levy for 2017 and 2018, leading to refunds. Delays in disability pensions and basic regulations like the Sickness Benefits Regulation and the Insurance Regulation for employees and self-employed persons further compound the issue. The pending announcement regarding the new reform of the auxiliary social security funds and the recent farmers' work permit case underscore the risk of sudden changes in legislation interpretation. This situation raises deeper questions about the stability and fairness of the Greek social security system, and it is imperative that these issues are addressed to ensure a sustainable and equitable system for all.
